The project, with an estimated cost exceeding $130 million, has secured over $65 million in funding and is undergoing redesign to manage costs, with groundbreaking anticipated in late 2026 and burials projected to begin in 2027 or 2028.
The project represents a long-awaited, multi-year effort to establish a dedicated resting place for Orange County’s large veteran population.
